The World Games Kaohsiung 2009
The eighth edition of The World Games was held in Kaohsiung, a special municipality located in the southern part of Chinese Taipei. The event took place from 16 to 26 July 2009, the sports programme included 31 official sports and five invitational sports, for a total of 165 medal events.
Two out of three Climbing disciplines – Lead and Speed – were featured in the programme, with competitions taking place on 18 and 19 July.
