The World Games Duisburg 2005
Climbing made its first appearance at The World Games in Duisburg, Germany, where the seventh edition of the multi-sport event took place from 14 to 24 July 2005. Alongside Climbing, 30 more official sports and six invitation sports were included in the sports programme. Some 169 total medal events were contested.
Two out of three Climbing disciplines – Lead and Speed – were featured in the programme, with competitions taking place on 18 and 19 July.
