The World Games Birmingham 2022
Originally planned to take place in 2021, the 11th edition of The World Games was posponed because of the COVID-19 pandemic and finally happened in Birmingham, Alabama, USA, from 7 to 17 July 2022. Thirty sports were featured in the programme, and a total of 206 medal events were contested.
The three Climbing disciplines – Boulder, Lead, and Speed – were all featured in the programme, with competitions spread over three days – 14 to 16 July.
